Tonight my world is peaceful, Lord.
The snow blankets the ground,And still it falls, like drifting stars,
Without making a sound.
With hopeful heart, I let that peace
Take root in me, then grow.
There is a certain stillness in
A world that’s lost in snow.
Tomorrow may bring more trouble,
It’s never far away,
But, for tonight, I’ll take what peace
You choose to send my way.
