Arise, Arise

Arise, arise and greet the dawn,
Let it waken your soul.
Then lift your voice to praise the Lord
That He might make you whole.

Arise, arise and greet the dawn,
For God has called your name
And He redeemed you from all sin
With a love you can claim.

Arise, arise and greet the dawn,
For death has lost the fight.
It cannot hold within its grasp
Those living in God’s light.

1 Corinthians 15:54-55
When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
