Ecclesiastes 7:8

With patience grows the twining moss,
Draping the alder’s face,
Until it covers root and branch
In its strangling embrace.

It’s not with speed that we achieve
The great deeds we must do,
But when we set forth in good faith
And see the task well through.

Ecclesiastes 7:8
The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.
