Lord, let me just say thanks tonight
For all that you have done
To guide me through this busy day,
From dawn to setting sun.
For keeping me safe in your sight
When things were at their worst
And lifting me from selfishness
When I thought of me first.
As I was running through the day,
Out where the world is wild,
I thank you that you kept an eye
On me, your errant child.
