Facing Fears and Carrying On

Last night I set down all my fears,
I laid them in your hand.
Today I must face them again,
But I now understand

Each fear I’ve named, you’ve claimed as yours
There’s no more I can do
Than do my best, trust for the rest
And know that trust’s in you.

It may not work out as I’d wish,
But you will see me through,
You’ve been to Hell and back for me
And I’m sticking with you.

So, though I face again at dawn,
The troubles of last night,
I know that you will stay with me
And that I’ll be alright.
