I always prayed you'd walk with me
As I moved through every day;
I asked you to stay by my side
And to keep the dark at bay.
But just today I realized
It should be the other way;
I want to walk each day with you
And by your side to stay.
Because in each day, no matter how dark or how long, there is a praise to be found. Sometimes our hearts are too weary or too frightened to voice them, but our souls cry out to God... and He is there.
