Your Light Shines

 

I may not be all that good at

walking the narrow way,

Or modeling to a lost world

How not to go astray.

But I try to stay focused on

The One who called the light

Into the void of darkest sin

That once held my soul tight.

I try to take the loving grace

That He’s poured out on me

And spill it back into a world

That needs it desperately.

I know I don’t reflect Him well,

However much I’ve tried,

But I can do more good than harm

With His love as my guide!

Matthew 5:16

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
