After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

They set out on a lonely quest,
Seeking to find the light
That burned across the distant sky
Through day, as well as night.
They were considered wise, by some,
But others thought them lost.
Why should they risk this mad travail,
At such a grueling cost?
But they had heard the prophecies
And knew the time was nigh,
So, they set out in faith to track
A star across the sky.
