Matthew 1:20-21
But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared
to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary
home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because
he will save his people from their sins.”
How do you trust words from a dream
That shake you to your core?
How do you walk towards a truth
Not knowing what’s in store?
How do you try to stand up strong
Beneath such a command?
You do it by walking in faith,
Though you don’t understand.
You do it by trusting in Him
Who asked so much of you,
Trusting that He will make you strong
Enough to see it through.
How do you trust words from a dream
