Luke 2:19
But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them
in her heart.
Mary cuddled her baby boy
As strangers came to praise.
She pondered what she should expect
In coming years and days.
She pondered where His path would lead.
Though she knew prophecy,
She didn’t know exactly what
Her baby’s life would be.
She didn’t know what He would face,
What tomorrow would bring,
But she knew that God set this path
And from Him, life would spring.
So, as the strangers came and went,
She pondered, in her heart.
And, though she didn’t know the end,
She praised God for the start.
