Blooms and Debris

Despite the debris of winter,
The crocus sweetly bloom.
They are not lost in the decay
Nor crushed by lack of room.
They do not bow down to the chill
That tints the ground and air,
For they are rooted in the faith
That God knows they are there.
They turn their faces to the light
And grow through the decay.
They do it all with simple joy
For God made them that way.
Matthew 6:29
But I tell you that Solomon in all his greatness was not dressed as well as one of these flowers.
