Oh Lord, I pause and bow my head,
Despite my busy day,To count the blessings in my life
Which You have sent my way.
The hurried pace I sometimes live
Distracts me from Your Grace
And I find that I miss You when
I keep up such a pace.
So I’ve decided, in each day,
To take time, now and then,
To pause and simply chat with You,
Before I start again.
