Lord this day has me running fast,
Too fast to stop and think. I don’t have time to change my mind,
Much less to stop and blink.
But in my mind I rest within
My savior’s warm embrace
And drink the waters that flow from
God’s never ending grace.
However wild the day may be
My spirit’s calm and whole,
For I have drunk from flowing streams
Of grace that feed my soul.
John 4:13-15
Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
