I know that it is winter time,

But I long to see you,

If just to remind me that you’ll

Be there when winter’s through.

 

So I will face the winter’s storms,

Knowing what spring will bring,

And though the storms may break my heart

Each little piece will sing.

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
