Time To Rest

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There is a stillness in this night

That I’d lost through the day,

I’m praying that tomorrow’s dawn

Will not take it away.

 

I cherish the stillness I’ve found

And lift my thanks to You.

Today was filled with such blessing,

And lots of chaos, too.

 

Lord, let me bide within Your peace

While I have time to rest.

Tomorrow brings more challenges

And new ways to be blessed.

 

Exodus 33:14

And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
