Watching Me

I know that You are watching me,

That You are always there.
And yet it’s still a sweet surprise
When You show me You care.
 
I don’t need miracles to know
That You watch over me.
The fact that I have lived this long,
Makes that point succinctly.
 
I don’t need to have answered prayers
To let me know You hear.
The answer sometimes is just, “No”
But that it’s You, is clear.
 
So, Lord, since I know You’re watching
Each little thing I do,
Help me to live my life such that
It’s most pleasing to You!
