There Are No Words

I thought I could find the words to,

Declare Your majesty,
But when I tried to give them form,
No such words came to me.
 
In fact, until I saw the sun
Rising up in the sky,
I thought such words ought to exist…
But now I will not try.
 
For there are no words to express
The majesty of He
Whose hand has shaped the gold sunlight
That dances on the sea,
 
Or whose breath stirs the cold waters
And warms them with His light.
There are no words sufficient to
Define such Grace and Might.

Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.
