The Shadowed Path

We walk the winding path in life,

The shadows, flickering,
Remind us of both dark and light
And all that both can bring.
 
We don’t know what’s around the bend,
Or even where we’re bound,
But we step out in faithfulness
On unfamiliar ground.
 
So, even walking through shadow,
Keep focused on the light
Until you come to rest at last
Where the Son’s warm and bright.
