The world is beautiful and bright,
Its delights on display,And I am often overwhelmed
By this earth’s vast array.
But there is nothing on this earth
Or in heaven above
That is more beautiful to me
Than Your unceasing love.
I’m grateful for the beauty, Lord,
As far as I can see,
But it is meaningless compared
To the love You’ve shown me.
Please know my gratitude is great,
And don’t misunderstand,
I love this world almost as much
As living in Your Hand.
