Engraved

Rest gently in the morning light,

Be still and understand
That You are safest where you are,
In the palm of my hand.
 
There’s time enough to seek the world,
Travelling sea and strand,
But for the moment stay and rest
In the palm of my hand.
 
And when you’re strong enough to fly,
No matter where you land,
