When I face hard or troubled days,
As the world goes its way,I take the time to bow my head,
Close my eyes and pray.
Oh, Lord, please keep me near to You,
Tucked up under your wing,
And, even in the hardest times,
I’ll have great cause to sing.
Oh, Lord, though all the busy world
Swirls round me every day,
I find that I can stay in peace
If I take time to pray.
