Let Me Be Still

Tonight I’m going to take some time

To just be still and pray
For I am greatly overwhelmed
By all I’ve faced today.
 
There is no upside in some things;
Those things we just ride through.
In other things there’s only good.
Either way, I’m with You.
 
So let me sit here, peacefully,
Within this rainy night.
Tomorrow I will rise in faith
And step out in Your light.
