So, here I am, Lord, in between
This rock and that hard space, And I’m not getting out of here
By sitting in one place.
But yet this must be what You planned
For, sweet Lord, look at me!
You gave me roots and rain and sun
Enough to be a tree.
I know it’s not an easy life,
But we’ve all got a choice,
Give up and let the hard place win
Or grow strong and rejoice!
So, Lord, I sit here in between
This rock and that hard space,
And thank You that I can rejoice
In Your abundant Grace!
