It may not seem like all that much
To those with so much more,But I am grateful for more wealth
Than I have known before.
I don’t need more than other folk,
And I could live with less,
But I have what I need each day
To live without distress.
I have a home that’s safe and warm,
I have enough to eat,
And neither one is fancy, Lord,
But my life is complete.
So I don’t trouble myself much
Longing for wealth or fame.
You’ve blessed me with all that I need,
And I will praise Your name.
