I rested by the shore today,
Nestled within its peace.For, when I hear the sounding waves,
My spirit finds release.
Thus is it with the Lord, also,
I’m still within His Grace.
When I am frantic, tossed and blown
He is my resting place.
If I can stay within the calm
That flows from God to shore,
Then I can face whatever storm
That life may hold in store.
Psalm 62:1
Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.
