Sweet Promises

Sweet are the promises of the Lord,

And great is His love for me.
For He will lead me from who I am
To become who I should be.
 
Sweet are the promises of the Lord,
And I rest my faith in them,
For what has been reborn within me
Can only bear fruit through Him.
 
Sweet are the promises of the Lord,
And I will rejoice always
For though I will wither on this earth
