The Earth and The Heavens - Re-Posted

 

There was that evening, long ago,

That helped me understand
How God can hold heaven and earth
At once within His hand.

I saw the moon rise through the trees.
As it came into view,
It crested past the mountain’s peak,
Both washed in pastel hue.

There in that moment, as they past,
They both lay in God’s hand
Heaven and earth, there side by side,
Answering His command.

Deuteronomy 10:14 
To the Lord your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.
