Adrift

Whenever I feel I’m adrift,

No solid ground in sight,
I turn my eyes up to the Lord
And trust that all is right.
 
For I can’t change where I might be
Or what life hands to me,
But if I live my life in faith
I live it joyfully.
 
I will not let the troubled times
Leave me stranded someplace
Where I believe I can’t look up
And recognize His Grace.
 
So, though I find myself adrift
And far from solid ground,
I’ll turn my eyes up to the Lord
Where help and joy are found!
