My life can be quite prickly
When viewed from day to day,That’s why I take time out with Him,
To chat a bit and pray.
This isn’t where I want to be,
But God has placed me here.
And I know that, when things get rough,
He’s always very near.
He may not save us from all pain,
If that pain’s in His plan,
But He will walk us through the pain
And bring us out again.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
