I feel as if my world has shrunk
Down to a narrow view
And I am trapped within its web,
With no hope of rescue.
I know that what You’ve asked of me,
Is important to do,
But sometimes I really do miss
An “outside my world” view.
Yet, when I’m feeling most alone,
I catch a glimpse or two
Of all the world that waits for me
If I will wait on You!
