I called to the Lord in my joy

And He rejoiced with me,

For those blessings that brought delight

Were born of His mercy.

 

I called to the Lord in my pain

And He reached out to me

I felt His loving grace take hold

To heal my misery.

 

I call to the Lord each new day,

I call Him every night.

I sing my praises to His name,

Rejoicing in His Light.

 

I call to the Lord, my soul sings,

He is my soul’s true song.

I will sing out my love for Him

All night and all day long!
