Blooming With Joy - Re-Posted

Solitary, on her bare branch,
She blooms with sweet delight.
She perseveres in cheerfulness,
For she was born of light.

Though moss consumes the nearby limbs
So no more blooms can grow,
She chooses to live life with joy,
Not fearing the next blow.

She holds her head up in the gloom,
Her color sweet and rare,
And offers her scent to the breeze,
To sweeten the dark air.

For she will not give in to night,
To moss or to despair;
Instead she’ll bloom with all her heart,
For God has placed here there!

James 1:2-3
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
