A new day dawned and brought with it
Its own worries and care,
But there were blessings and great joy
Also to be found there.
It matters what we choose to seek,
For that is what we’ll find.
We will not notice a blessing
If worry’s on our mind.
It’s difficult to see the joy,
That’s right before our eyes,
If we’re so focused on the clouds,
That we miss the sunrise.
Each day will have troubles to bear,
That much is surely true,
But it will also hold blessings
Enough to see you through!
Romans 12:12
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant
in prayer.
