Letting It All Go

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’m letting it all go tonight,

Tomorrow starts anew.

Tonight I have no greater plan

Than spending time with You.

 

The week was long, yet filled with grace,

But much work lies ahead.

Though weariness may bid me weep,

I seek Your peace instead.

 

The world can be a painful place,

But Joy abounds here, too,

And I can face both as they come

With that peace born in You.

 

So, I am letting go tonight,

But, with the new day’s dawn,

I’ll lift a prayer of gratitude,

Then rise and carry on.
