I Failed You Again

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I let You down again, oh Lord,

I didn’t offer grace

To those whom I should have given

A little extra space.

 

I let my guard down once again

And the darkness crept in.

I can’t apologize enough

To cover my chagrin.

 

You’ve washed this sin from my heart, Lord,

More than a time or two,

But I keep letting it back in

Despite all I can do.

 

I ask forgiveness one more time,

For patience in travails,

And for the will to keep trying

Until Your Grace prevails.

 

James 5:15

And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
