Your Restoration

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’m weary by the week’s end, Lord,

In need of rest and peace.

I may have more work tomorrow,

But, for now, work can cease.

 

I’ll lift a prayer of gratitude,

Thanks for walking me through

So many challenges with grace,

And a stumble or two.

 

I fell short of Your hope that I

Would walk with love for all.

I’m still not what You’d like to see

In one who heeds Your call.

 

Yet You still stayed beside me, Lord,

Through every crazy day,

And now, before I fall asleep,

I’ll bow my head and pray.

 

 2 Corinthians 13:9

For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. Your restoration is what we pray for.
