Rest In You

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This day has not been easy, Lord,

But You have led me through.

I am a bit worse for the wear,

But I will rest in You.

 

I’ll bandage up the broken hopes

And lift a prayer or two

That they will be restored once more

When I take rest in You.

 

Tomorrow will hold new labors

That I’ll set my hand to,

But right now all I really want

Is just to rest in You.

 

Oh Lord, I lift my weary heart

And ask You to renew

The faith, the strength, the love I’ll need,

And let me rest in You.

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
