Love Notes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I almost missed this love note, Lord,

I slept a bit too long,

But when I noticed it, I felt

My heart break into song.

 

I don’t often wake to such joy

In this dark time of year,

So, it was with startled delight

That I saw it appear.

 

Oh Lord, Your kindness never ends

And You clearly love me,

For You wrote it across the sky,

Then woke me up to see!

 

Psalm 143:8

Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
