I felt so trapped, with no way out

That I could see from there.

It wasn’t just that I was lost,

But lost and in despair.

 

Yet You found me right where I was,

You called me by my name.

Lord, when I heard You calling me,

I listened and I came.

 

You came for me when I was lost,

Because You loved me so.

Now I will stay close by Your side

Wherever You may go.
