My Hope

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When I am weary from this life,

When I can find no peace,

I place my hope in Him alone.

With Him my troubles cease.

 

When I am lost in a dark world

And fear begins to start,

I place my hope in Him alone.

He calms my fearful heart.

 

When I am battered in the storms

That beat me to my knees,

I place my hope in Him alone.

In Him I can find ease.

 

In Him alone I place my hope

Knowing His love won’t fail.

I wait in silence and in faith

For His grace to prevail.

For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.
