Seeking Your Voice

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I just need to be still tonight

And listen for the sound

Of Your voice speaking just to me.

Words, simple or profound.

 

I cannot find words of my own,

I have no thoughts tonight,

But I have faith that You are near

And things will be alright.

 

So, I will sit in the stillness

And wait for You to speak.

You are the voice I long to hear,

You are the words I seek.
