A Still Moment

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sometimes I have only moments

To be alone and think.

I know it doesn’t seem like much,

For someone on the brink,

 

But even small moments of peace

Are all I that I require

To feel the renewal of life

That is my heart’s desire.

 

For, in the silence I can hear

Your voice bid me, “be still”,

And I am grateful for the peace

That such moments instill.

 

The world can be a busy place

That wears away my soul,

But, in the silence spent with You,

Moments can make me whole.
