The Path of The Light

 

I want to walk the paths of Light,

To live as I should live.

I want to bring more joy than pain

And take less than I give.

But most of all, Lord of the Light,

I want to walk with You,

I want to speak, to think and live

As You want me to do.

I know that I fall from the path

More often than I should,

And I have never lived the life

That, with Your help, I could.

But Lord, each day I try to walk

Closer than yesterday,

And keep my eyes turned to Your Light

That I might see The Way.

Job 24:13
