1:9
The
true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.
The
long road to the Savior’s birth
Starts
before Nazareth,
Yet
her leg of that weary road
Brought
pain with every breath.
She
carried a great gift with her
Along
that broken road,
But
as time passed, it grew harder
To
carry that blessed load.
Yet,
none of that mattered to her.
For
Her child, by His birth,
Would
make her struggle worth facing
For
all this broken earth!
