In Fear and Comfort

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

His hand can cause the sea to rage

And tear across the shore.

He shakes the mountain into dust,

Shatters it to its core,

And yet His mercy and His grace

Can heal and will restore.

 

We cannot fully comprehend

The power in His name.

We walk in reverence and fear

And yet, each one can claim

The peace that’s lives within the soul

That’s been washed free of shame.

 

We ought to live in fear of Him,

Tremble just at the thought,

Yet it is through His loving grace

That our redemption’s bought.

 

Acts 9:31

So, the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied.

Streams of Living Water

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I see the rivers flowing down

From mountain to the sea,

Filling the lands that they pass through

With lush, verdant bounty.

 

So, too, does the river of Life,

Which flows from You to me,

Turn that which was barren desert

Into Your victory.

 

For my soul was desolate once,

And now it teems with life.

Where once only pain could hold sway,

Hope, joy and peace are rife.

 

You caused the waters of Your love

To pour through my dry soul

And fill it with Your living grace,

The barren was made whole.

 

Psalm 78:16

He made streams come out of the rock and caused waters to flow down like rivers.

You Are The Light

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I praise You in the morning, Lord

Within dawn’s fresh, new light.

For I have known no greater joy

Than life lived in Your sight,

And I will sing, for all to hear,

Hymns of praise and delight.

You are the reason I rejoice,

Oh Lord, You are the Light.
