I’m grateful for a cooling breeze,

And for an early night.

I’m grateful for the moon and stars

And for the morning light.

 

I’m grateful for a place to sleep

Where I will be alright.

I’m grateful for Your loving grace

That always holds me tight.

 

I’m grateful for so many things,

But, Lord, for me, tonight,

I’m grateful You are ever near,

That truth is my delight.
