We always look for miracles
So big we can’t deny,
But what about the simple ones
That we often pass by.
The butterfly dancing the breeze,
The robin when it sings,
The hummingbird frozen in place
Despite its whirring wings.
The world is filled with miracles
That we so seldom see
Because we’ve set our sights upon
Some splendid mystery.
Lord, help us see the miracles
That we often pass by,
The little gifts that bring such joy
In the blink of an eye!
Matthew 13:16
But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears,
for they hear.
