Spirit, Not of Fear

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I wouldn’t say I’m fearless, Lord,

But I’ve let go of fear

And I am keeping my sights on

Something I hold more dear.

 

You taught me not to be afraid

Of what might come my way,

But face with faith what I can’t change

And rejoice every day.

 

For You have given me the strength

To stand up and be strong,

The power of a faith filled heart

To help when things go wrong.

 

I’m watching over those I love

And keeping joy in sight.

I’m stronger living in this faith,

Your promise, my delight.
