The simple joys of family,
Of friends I’ve loved for years.
The memories of the laughter,
And, also, of the tears.
Through all the days that came and went
Despite all I’ve been through,
My blessings outnumber the stars,
And for that, I thank You.
Because in each day, no matter how dark or how long, there is a praise to be found. Sometimes our hearts are too weary or too frightened to voice them, but our souls cry out to God... and He is there.
