Four Sisters

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You filled these days with tears and love,

With joy and with sorrow,

With memories of where we’ve been,

And hopes for where we’ll go.

 

Four sisters, gathered one more time,

After a crazy year.

So many things to catch up on

And share with those so dear.

 

The long years past, we each recalled

As we remembered them.

Each one had walked a different path,

Yet each path led to Him.

 

We shared the tales of grace we’d lived

Through struggles we had known

And how those struggles taught us faith.

Then, how that faith had grown.

 

We each had heard Him calling us,

And each answered His call.

He set each one on different paths,

But He walked with us all.

 

We shared the wisdom we had learned,

His Word bound each one’s heart,

For He is where our journeys end

And where each had its start.  

 

Four sisters, gathered to renew

The bonds of family

And lift our praises to the Lord,

For His loving bounty.
